This English text is provided for convenience only. In case of any inconsistency or dispute, the Italian version is the sole authoritative and binding version.

Your data stays on your computer. Maps, documents, sources and indexes live in a local database. Synaptica has no account system and receives nothing when you use the app.
No tracking, here or in the app. This site uses no cookies and no analytics; the app sends no telemetry. Error reporting, when it becomes available, will be opt-in only and off by default.
AI and transcription are under your control. Transcription runs locally on your computer. AI features use the key you configure: requests reach only the provider you choose, and the key stays in the app.
PRO sync is end-to-end encrypted. If you turn it on, data travels encrypted with your passphrase to storage you own (WebDAV/S3): neither we nor the storage provider can read it.
Purchases. Payment is processed by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record), which handles your data under its own policy. The license reaches you by email through our delivery service (Resend), which sees only the email address needed for delivery.
